PCB and PCBA project studio in Heze, Shandong, China

One accountable contact from review to handover

PCBLaunch engineering service

A small China-side hardware project studio

PCBLaunch is a 6-person China-side project studio for overseas small hardware teams, led by Li Can and organized around one accountable project lead rather than unsupported factory claims.

Why the studio model exists

Overseas hardware teams often have a design package, working prototype, or physical board but no single China-side person responsible for moving questions through engineering, sourcing, fabrication, assembly, testing, revision, and handover.

Li Can is the Studio Lead and single customer contact. He confirms scope, assigns the specialist owner for each technical task, and remains responsible for the agreed handover.

This is not presented as a vertically integrated factory. The value is a controlled path, visible responsibility, and a project record that connects decisions across different contributors.

Operating principles

How the studio works

The same principles apply whether the starting point is Gerber files, an ESP32 prototype, a Raspberry Pi system, or an existing board.

One accountable contact

The customer should not have to reconstruct the project from several disconnected supplier conversations.

Specialists matched to the need

Engineering and production work is assigned according to the project rather than claimed as one person's universal expertise.

Questions remain visible

Unknown evidence, substitutions, missing files, and test limitations stay open until resolved or accepted.

The role customers actually buy

One customer contact, specialist work where it belongs.

Li Can is the accountable project lead. He does not claim to be the only engineer, fabricator, or test specialist. He keeps the customer’s objective, decisions, suppliers, and evidence connected from review to handover.

We can design where we have the capability

PCBLaunch can support practical board design and redesign work, then bring in the right specialist when the project needs deeper expertise.

We prototype and test the build

Small quantities can be built and checked directly when practical. Larger or more specialized production is placed with a suitable partner under the agreed scope.

We stay responsible for the thread

You do not have to chase a designer, assembler, test house, and shipping contact separately when an issue crosses between them.

The promise

From an imperfect starting point to a build you can use.

PCBLaunch is built for overseas small hardware teams that need more than a fast quote: they need someone to expose gaps, coordinate the work, and make the next decision understandable.

Our measure is delivery clarity.

What was reviewed, what changed, what was tested, what remains uncertain, and what happens next should be visible in the project record.

How one contact works with many specialists

One accountable contact does not mean one person pretends to do every job.

The strongest small-batch workflows make ownership clear while matching specialist tasks to the right people and facilities. That is the model PCBLaunch is building.

Translate the customer need

Li Can turns the product goal into a review brief: what exists, what must work, what is missing, and what needs a decision.

Brief the right partner

Design, sourcing, board fabrication, assembly, programming, testing, and logistics are assigned according to the agreed scope.

Hold approval gates

Material substitutions, scope changes, test limits, and rework are surfaced for approval instead of being silently decided downstream.

Return usable evidence

The customer receives the build result, findings, exceptions, and next action in a form that supports the next order.

Clear ownership, specialist execution

One accountable contact, without pretending one person does every specialist task.

Li Can leads the project thread. PCBLaunch can carry design, sourcing, fabrication, assembly, programming and testing through the right people and facilities for the agreed scope.

What the studio owns

The brief, open questions, supplier coordination, approvals, schedule visibility, quality records and handover.

What specialists own

Specialist design, process, fabrication, assembly or test work is performed by the appropriate partner or engineer.

What the customer approves

Scope, material substitutions, test limits, changes, rework and the evidence needed to release the next step.

What happens after you contact us

The first response should make the project easier to understand.

We do not promise a factory quote before understanding the evidence. We first establish what can be answered now and what needs a specialist or a physical check.

First: orient the request

Identify the product, current files or board, desired quantity, timing and the result the first build must prove.

Then: expose the boundary

Separate known facts, missing inputs, technical risks and decisions that require customer approval.

Finally: propose the route

Recommend the next practical step—review, design support, prototype, reproduction, small batch or a combined scope.

Questions about the studio

Trust comes from clear boundaries, not a long list of claims.

Are all services performed in one factory?

No. The route may use qualified partners for different specialist steps. PCBLaunch keeps the scope, approvals and project record connected.

Can PCBLaunch design and test a board?

Where the agreed scope and capability fit, yes. The project record will state what was designed, what was tested and what remains outside the evidence.

Who is responsible when something changes?

PCBLaunch remains the customer-facing project contact and surfaces the decision. The relevant specialist supplies the technical input for approval.

How work is delivered

One customer contact, specialist work where it belongs

Li Can remains the single customer contact. The studio handles the project path, while each technical task is owned by the right person or production partner.

Design in-house

Defined PCBA design work can be completed by the studio with the project files and requirements in view.

Prototype and test

Prototype boards can be made in-house or through a selected partner, then tested by the studio against the agreed checks.

Small batch by quantity

Very small quantities can be built directly. Larger quantities are placed with a suitable production factory after review.

Start with the files, board, or prototype you already have.

PCBLaunch will identify the next questions before a build scope is agreed.
